Terms of Use
Last updated: 26 October 2026
Zinho is offered by Luca Straßburger, Gropperstr. 62, 47807 Krefeld, Germany (contact@zinho.app). Your use of the app is governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Apple EULA). The points below add to it; where they differ, the Apple EULA applies.
Subscription
- Full access needs a Super Zinho subscription: yearly (with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers) or monthly. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial if you started one.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. If you cancel during the free trial, you pay nothing.
- You manage and cancel it in your iPhone settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Refunds are handled by Apple under its rules.
Videos
Clips are parts of public YouTube videos, played with YouTube's embedded player. The videos belong to their creators; Zinho links each clip to the original video and channel. By watching them you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Videos can be removed by their creators or by YouTube at any time, so individual clips may stop working. Creators can ask us to remove a clip at contact@zinho.app.
Learning content and AI
Transcripts, translations, word meanings and grammar notes are created with the help of speech recognition and AI, and the AI explanations are written by Google's Gemini when you ask for them. We work to keep them accurate, but they can contain mistakes. Zinho is a learning aid; we do not promise a particular learning result or level.
Fair use
Use Zinho for your own learning. Do not copy or resell its content, try to get around the subscription, or overload or attack the service.
Liability
We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are only liable for breaches of essential obligations (those that make the service possible at all and on which you may rely), limited to the damage that is typical and foreseeable. Otherwise our liability is excluded. Your statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected.
Changes and law
We may update these terms when the app changes; the date above shows the current version. German law applies, without the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country you live in still apply.
